Our programme of personal and social education has been planned carefully to ensure that information is presented in the context of family life, loving and caring relationships and respect for others. It is not generally treated as a separate subject but as part of topic work on, for instance, "Living Creatures" or "Ourselves and our bodies".

Parents are invited to a meeting on sex education before the topic is discussed with older children. Parents can withdraw their child from part or all of the sex and relationships education programme.
